As many of you may know, Sunday was my birthday and even though my mom is almost 2000 miles away, she managed to get a party thrown for me, which was kind of nice...I guess.
It all started Saturday morning when Denise (one of the ladies from church) called and invited me over after church. I immediately suspected that my mom called her and told her it was my birthday. And I was right.
After the whole church sang to me during lunch, everyone got together at a park and had some pizza and cookie-cake for my birthday. It was actually really nice.
Come Monday, I got several cards and a package from the folks. Thanks to everyone who remembered my birthday :)
